Settled by the Signorelli family at the turn of the 20th century, most of the historic improvements are quite old, including the former residence. A spring near the top of the ranch provides water for the house, headquarters, and livestock. Situated next to Vandenberg Air Force Base, the ranch receives an annual stipend from the 
 
 the Air Force for possible evacuations for missile launches. Additional income comes from a windfarm lease that is paying rent while the wind farm company pursues approvals of their project. When constructed, the windfarm will generate royalties based upon the electricity generated. 
 
 The windfarm as currently proposed would occupy the southern, higher elevation of the ranch which is generally the opposite end of the ranch from the headquarters. Access to the proposed windfarm is anticipated from the neighboring property rather than entrance to the Property at San Miguelito Road. 
 
 The Property is currently leased to a local cattle rancher for grazing purposes on a month to month basis.
