Raised in a small Minnesota town David Anderson (aka Austin) was inspired by the legacy of his great grandfather George Irving, a prominent actor/director. Challenged by extreme sports, as a Santa Barbara student, he would swim miles into the ocean & surprise ships at sea. One swim almost ended in tragedy when a storm broke. David had to leave his unconscious friend tied to emptied gallon water jugs while he swam miles for help. Miraculously they survived. The story was reenacted on PAX It's a Miracle & for Warren Miller's Wild Survival in the Wilderness. In 2002, he purchased his pied--terre, a foreclosure & in complete disrepair. With little regard for cost, he remodeled w/a new floorplan, kitchen, bath, windows & wood floors. Not content, he spent another $10,000 installing private security surveillance to watch his 1965 Shelby Cobra. Once David had everything to his satisfaction he returned home for a visit, met his future wife & they are now building their dream home on a Lake.
