Opening home details…
Perhaps the most architecturally-significant home in Palm Springs, this Donald Wexler-designed steel and glass house was originally commissioned in 2000 but put on hold until 2014, when Mr. Wexler was re-approached to do revisions to meet current codes and standards, so the home could finally be built. He was quite excited by the project and the process because he had not designed a steel home since the 1960s. This is the last home Donald Wexler worked on before his passing in 2015. It boasts classic post and beam construction with a current and modern twist, and sits on a large lot in the Movie Colony East neighborhood on land once belonging to Frank Sinatra's Twin Palms Estate. This home is a 2,550 sq. ft. residence of steel and glass, consisting of 3 bedrooms, 3 baths and a den. It wraps around a reflecting pool and looks across the main pool to stunning views of the San Jacinto Mountains. It is truly a work of art and an iconic architectural masterpiece with an amazing history.

ZIP averages use publicly displayable closed sales from our licensed MLS feed, matched to the same ZIP and exact property type. Months with fewer than 3 sales are omitted; the current month is incomplete. Lines connect available monthly observations across gaps and do not represent measured prices in missing months. These averages are not adjusted for size, condition, or location within the ZIP, and are not an appraisal. Feed coverage may not include every sale. All available shows the available home and ZIP history, with mortgage rates over the same dates.
Mortgage benchmark: Freddie Mac Primary Mortgage Market Survey®. © Freddie Mac. Weekly national 30-year fixed rates, not APRs or a loan quote. Actual terms vary. Methodology changed in November 2022. The chart does not establish that interest-rate changes caused a home’s price changes.
Lines connect recorded asking and sale prices. They are visual guides, not estimates of the home’s value between those dates.
No earlier records were returned by our current sources. This does not mean the home has never sold.
