Ocotillo Lodge was architect William Krisel's first work completed here in the desert and since 1957 this magical place has been welcoming visitors and residents alike. Known as the Dinah Shore Suite, this larger floor plan rarely comes on the market and this particular unit is restored to the look of the original. At Ocotillo Lodge, Krisel created an exercise in contrast with thick architectural block walls balanced on the opposite side by light panes of glass which connected the indoor space with the outdoor space making both a cohesive whole. No wonder these homes feel so much larger. The bedroom is partially separated from the living room by an obscure-glass panel, which preserves an unbroken wall of glass out to the oversize patio. In the bathroom, the architect thoughtfully provided skylights above the sinks so that every part of the home is a bathed in natural light. Come see one of the nicest and most authentic units at Ocotillo Lodge.

ZIP averages use publicly displayable closed sales from our licensed MLS feed, matched to the same ZIP and exact property type. Months with fewer than 3 sales are omitted; the current month is incomplete. Lines connect available monthly observations across gaps and do not represent measured prices in missing months. These averages are not adjusted for size, condition, or location within the ZIP, and are not an appraisal. Feed coverage may not include every sale. All available shows the available home and ZIP history, with mortgage rates over the same dates.
Mortgage benchmark: Freddie Mac Primary Mortgage Market Survey®. © Freddie Mac. Weekly national 30-year fixed rates, not APRs or a loan quote. Actual terms vary. Methodology changed in November 2022. The chart does not establish that interest-rate changes caused a home’s price changes.
Lines connect recorded asking and sale prices. They are visual guides, not estimates of the home’s value between those dates.
No earlier records were returned by our current sources. This does not mean the home has never sold.
MLS records may be incomplete. Earlier asking prices are not sale prices.
